A word often misunderstood and beautifully explained in this book of solutions. The authors challenge us to move from a position of caring to a position of action to begin to repair our traumatized society. Dominic and Katherine outline solutions, breaking down the many challenges we face in society and how we can take action on a personal, family, community, and societal level. This book has opened my eyes to solutions we can implement together. The book outlines the 100 % community programs that show us if we as individuals, leaders, politicians, and humans can work to together to ensure vital services for everyone we can heal our traumatized society and prevent further breakdown of our family structures. This book especially hits home for me as a parent. Education, family structure, and access to food, transportation, mental health, and a loving and caring environment for our children is the key to success for the future of our nation. And as a first responder, after reading the book, I have identified ways that I can take action immediately to contribute to society and help people access these vital services. The authors' personal journals, real life case scenarios, and question/answer format of this book makes it an easy and fascinating read. I highly recommend this book as a launchpad for an awakening within us; on a personal level and as a society. Read the book, take notes, then take action!
